| Hermana Udy sporting her new mission bag... Mision De Peru Lima Sur! SHE. LOOKS. SO. HAPPY. HAPPY. HAPPY. |
This past week we had
multi-zone with President and Sister Douglas. It was so great! We discussed
about the Atonement and our desires as a missionary and the natural man. It was
crazy because right before I came here, I wrote in my journal that I want to
learn how to conquer the natural man. Then... our multi- zone was about that!
How great! At the end we sang Called to Serve but in Spanish--4 verses. It is a
powerful song and I was holding back tears just fine until the 3rd verse. Then
I just lost it for the whole verse haha. I just was thinking about how blessed
I am to have this opportunity to serve my Heavenly Father in this mission. I
have talked about being here for almost 9 months and now I am here. I was able
to recover to mutter some words during the 4th verse but it was a lost cause
haha. I have a testimony of the power of this work, it´s incredible!
One thing that we are
doing is ALWAYS have a Libro de Mormon in our hands. When we are walking, on
the bus, everything! There is such a power in The Book of Mormon. It constantly
reminds me of my purpose! People look at us differently simply with the book in
our hands. I feel more power, more safety and more like a missionary with this
simple action. So now you can imagine me walking the streets of Peru... with a
Libro de Mormon in my hands :)
Les quiero muchisimo!
We are just working away trying our best :)
