WEEK 23-- "WHEN-DO"

Well this week has been great!

A bunch of random thoughts so.... bear with me :) haha

So I had my first contact on the bus! I was standing on the steps and was super squished and we just started talking and bam! It happened. Haha I was so nervous and soooo awkward I am sure but that´s the mission :) I even did a contact in the taxi the other day too. It was great :) 

Spanish. Hahaha is all I have to say. My mind is slowly converting to Spanish. But at times.... I mix Spanish and English. The other day I said ¨when-do.¨ Spanish- cuando and English- when. Haha the Elders I was with were laughing pretty hard. It´s getting better each week. My understanding is A LOT better! Speaking... meh it´s coming. I think back to the MTC and I am grateful for how far I have come in this short time. It´s a good reminder when I am frustrated :)

Funny thing here... we don´t always have power haha. Yesterday, the power was out from 7 in the morning until 5, supposedly. So we were out working then it got dark... and there were no lights. Haha I kept thinking ¨by the light of the silvery moon,” not exactly sure where that came from but I think it´s a song? ha-ha We were waiting to have dinner and decided to sing hymns (by candlelight haha). We were singing Hark the Herald Angels Sing and in the final Glorias, the lights came on! Miracles! Haha it was funny :) 

Love you! I am very happy today :) possibly because I am in Peru, teaching people how they can repent to live with their families for forever! Yep, I think that is it :)

Next week is transfers so P-day is Wednesday. I know the suspense for my letters will be hard but it´s the life :)
