WEEK 44-- God Has A Purpose, So.... I´ll Keep Listening :)

This week has been great! :) I seriously love being a missonary. Have I said it a thousand times yet? If so, I´ll say it a thousands times more!

How great is the Holy Ghost? I have been trying to perfect my listening to the Holy Ghost and God has given me plenty of oppurtunites to listen this week. An example, during planning I felt very bluntly that we were going to talk about the Restoration with a new investigator BUT when we got to the lesson I had a slight amount of fear and resorted back to our objective as missionaries and the doctrine of Christ. I felt a little bit of a ¨ugh¨ in my chest that we should talk about the Restoration. BUT, because of my fear, I kept going with the doctrine of Christ. Then she asked a question that the Restoration would have completely answered but because I didn´t listen to the Spirit we had to go back and teach the principal. It worked out and we are going back to visit her but don´t worry,

 lesson learned. 

After this experience I have been trying to be super tentative to the Spirit. Simple things like feeling we need to visit someone, call, walk a certain way, talk with someone specifically, I will go and do! At times I feel a little  ¨Why did I go talk with them, they don´t want to listen.¨ But what I do know is that God has a purpose, so.... I´ll keep listening :)

Random thoughts:

Did I tell you that my neighbors/members were converted in Little River ward. Which happens to be in the Washington D.C. South mission! :) AND that I have met various people that lived in Leesburg, Virginia! What the?! Small, small, incredible world!

Elder Grow is coming to our ward this week, slightly nervous but super excited! Don´t worry, I already have my outfit picked out :) haha

We are having a baptism in 2 weeks FYI! :) SOOO HAPPY! :)
