Well.
Haha it´s interesting here. We are trying to know our area and it´s been
interesting :) Let me tell you about our travel here because well that`s what
we have been doing :)
My first night we got
on the bus to go to our area. Haha The bus reminded me so much of the Aggie
Shuttle when we would have 90 plus people on the bus. It was crazy! We haven´t
got lost or anything yet so that´s a blessing :)
Our apartment is
great... now. Elders used to live in it and it was REALLY dirty. My companion
was cleaning and she kept repeating ``I`m going to kill the elders `` (in Spanish
of course) haha I couldn´t help but laugh. It was sooo funny :) We have it
pretty clean now, don´t worry :) It´s pretty cold here but don´t worry about
that either, we got that covered too haha. I wear my thermals, shorts, shirt,
sweatshirt, cheetah socks (that go to her knees) and 3 thick wool blankets to
sleep. I love it :)
Also, I stand out here
like crazy haha. I`m pretty tall and white haha. The first day, a little girl
pointed at me and said ``sus ojos son azules``. I get a lot of stares and asked
where I am from but that`s okay.
We had a baptism
Saturday! She bore her testimony after and said that she felt different. It
made me realize how important this work is to help others feel peace in their
life.
This is a really brief
but I have been in such a whirl wind haha. My Spanish is decent. I can talk
with missionaries pretty good but as for the people here.... I try :)
I love it here! I feel
like I fit in here so well. Love it!
