WEEK 66--You Can´t Do It Alone.

July 21, 2014

My first week in Carnevaro- San Juan. It was good haha. My area is SUPER small. like 1/4 or my area in Imperial. Slightly sketchy but very safe :) It´s city but rural-ish. a lot of little parks to the point I get confused at which park I am at. I am getting to used to the new room, new people, new food (it is sooo good! My pensionista is great! And healthy!! :)), new companion, new things. It´s been hard. And I am not exactly sure why. I am not sad to be here, I was sad to leave Imperial but I was happy to come here. I just am not having the easy change like I have had in other areas. But it´s great :) Taking a one new thing at a time.

The members are great! Really supportive! I love every single one of them. They are all so happy! Makes me even happier :)

Hermana T (my companion) is great! She can teach amazingly! We are working on unity and getting used to one another. She loved her last companion and
I feel like maybe she doesn´t love me as much as her other... yet. :) haha we´ll see.

What I have observed is the importance of companionship. I remember I thought I could do everything and still progress but what I am learning is that in a companionship you help one another. It´s not just about becoming better yourself but helping the other person progress. You are only as strong as your weakest link right? So you have to help one another to progress :) You can´t do it alone.

Random moment: Walking to internet today I ran into an Hermana from AYACUCHO!! Hermana E! I looked across the road and said ¨Hermana E?¨ She looked at me and said ¨Hermana Udy?¨AHHH! I nearly squealed :) haha just to see someone from my ward in Ayacucho, it´s crazy!  What a small small world!

We are working on finding the chosen people God has prepared and working with less actives. I love working with less actives. It just makes you happy when you see a family come to church that it has been awhile or years! Do you know a less active that needs a helping hand to come back to church? Pray about it. The Spirit will tell you who :)

Les quiero!

Hermana Udy
