WEEK 67 & 68--Teaching Everything I Know

July 28, 2014

No letter...

August 4, 2014

I love learning new things! It really helps you progress and feel good.

I had an intercambio with the Hermana B from Colombia! She has about 2 months in the mission and she is progressing well! Unfortunately her companion this last week has been ill but today she is feeling better. I will be going back to do another intercambio near the end of this transfer.

We had a leadership training with President Douglas. Needless to say, I learned a lot!! The Spirit was telling things that I need to do better and HOW! It was amazing. Everytime I am with President Douglas, I learn sooo many things! He walks into the room and it instantly fully of the Spirit. Truly remarkable. We had a lot of sister missionaries here in Lima and our goal is that they all have an intercambio this transfer, we have work to do! It´s a great experience to teach them what I have learned. President Douglas gave a talk to read that really impacted me. There is one line that says (I´m translating, forgive me if it isn´t exact) Ä leader has the role of teaching their followers what they know. the cementary is FULL of leaders who thought they were indispensable.¨ Totally changed my perspective on my mission. Now I am trying to teach Hermana T everything I know :) hahaha

We have work to do here in Carnevaro. We have a a family that came to church yesterday!! Recently their son (24 years old mas o menos) passed away (committed suicide) and our bishop went with us to their house. Everytime we go I just feel this need to help them. We have a Family Home Evening with them and the Bishop and another family and we are super excited to see what is going to happen! We are praying!!

Les quiero! Have a great week!
