WEEK 70--Sweet Hour Of Prayer

August 18, 2014

This week went soo fast! I said to my companion this morning, ¨it´s already P-day?¨ Then I thought back on what happened the last week and thought ¨Oh really that was this week, it feels like forever ago!¨ Haha it was one of those kind of weeks.

We have been working with a couple that has a baptismal date for this Saturday, it was a little scary for a bit. I had a great experience in learning how to receive comfort and help through prayer. On Friday we were doing the ¨pre-interview¨ with D y L  and the 2nd question is ¨Do you believe that the Gospel and Church of Jesus Christ has been restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith? ¨ L said Sí!  D said no. Turns out, he felt that he hadn´t received an answer yet about the Book of Mormon and he wanted to know more about Joseph Smith. I was praying SO hard that things would turn out well. We left him to read Alma 32, meditate and then pray to know if it is true.

The next day was caotic. I felt frazzled. I don´t think I have ever felt that in my mission or at least that I can remember. We got to the lesson and I had been praying that I could have the words that I and my companion needed to say. We sang ¨Sweet Hour of Prayer¨ and I testify that God answers prayers. I was nervous right up until the moment I literally opened my mouth and the words came!! I was explaining it in ways that they understood, the Spanish came out clearly. AHHH!!! It was such a testimony to me!

I love being a missionary. It is the last week of our transfer, who knows what will happen. I love my ward and we are very blessed!

Les quiero!!
